about me

From a very young age, I understood that expression doesn’t only happen through words. My earliest “languages” were quiet ones — crafts, colours, textures, and later music. Long before I learned to speak openly about my inner world, these creative forms helped me communicate in ways that felt natural and comfortable.Looking back, I am very grateful to those who explained to 'little me' the value of these early ways of expressing myself. Their guidance helped me see that sensitivity, creativity, and intuitive expression are not limitations - they are forms of insight. This realization helped shape who I am today, both personally and professionally.I am a trained and warranted Systemic Psychotherapist & Family therapist, working with individuals, couples, families and children. I believe deeply in the power of therapeutic dialogue- conversations that help us slow down, explore meaning, repair patterns, and connect with ourselves and others. But talking is not the only way people express or process what matters. My approach:In my practice, I make space for the full spectrum of human expression.
Clients who work with me will find a therapy room that welcomes both spoken and unspoken communication. Alongside our conversations, I offer optional expressive tools such as paints, stones, textures, essential oils, story-writing materials, and other sensory or creative elements.
This is not because therapy needs to be “creative,” but because each person deserves options- different pathways for expression, reflection, and healing. Some feelings are easier to express in colour.
Some memories take shape in movement.
Some truths appear in symbols or story.
And some experiences simply arrive before the words do.
My intention is to offer a therapeutic space for individuals, couples, families and children that is:*Emotionally safe and grounded in sensitivity
*Flexible in the ways expression can happen
*Rooted in systemic understanding and evidence-based practice
*Respectful of each client’s pace, needs, and inner language
*Open to creativity, exploration, and intuitive insight
*Above all, I aim to create a space where you can express yourself in the ways that feel most natural to you (with words or without them) and where those ways are seen as meaningful and valid.
This balance of thoughtful conversation and expressive exploration lies at the heart of my work, and it continues to guide me as a therapist every day.
